Terms of Service

These terms apply to any website or Google Business Profile project between you (“the client”) and Marco Boza, operating as BWD Web Studio (“BWD”).

Scope

The scope of each project is set in the proposal I send you before work starts. Anything outside it, such as extra pages, extra revision rounds or new features, is quoted separately.

The free review and the free preview

The online presence review is free, with no obligation. Before you pay anything for a website, I build a working preview of it. You are under no obligation to continue after you see it.

Payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include HST. 50% is due after you approve the preview and 50% on delivery. Accepted payment methods: Interac e-Transfer, cash or Stripe. Proposals are valid for 14 days.

Revisions

Two rounds of revisions are included with every website. More rounds, or a big change of direction, may be quoted as extra work.

Ownership

You own your domain, your content and the website files. There is no lock-in: you can move the site to another host or developer at any time. The final files are handed over on final payment.

Care plans

Every website includes 3 months of Care Essential. After that, care plans are optional and month-to-month. You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. There is no long-term contract.

Founding client pricing

Founding pricing is offered to three local businesses until October 31, 2026, for the website build only. In exchange, I ask for a short testimonial after launch and permission to show the project in my portfolio.

Timelines

The timelines I give (for example, 3 business days for a first working version) assume you send your content and feedback promptly. Delays on your side can move the delivery date.

No guarantee of results

I do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads or sales. I build sites and Google Business Profiles following current good practice, but results depend on many things outside my control.
